COAT Pêlagem

There are two types of coat; rough and smooth.

Both are double coated.

Existem dois tipos de pêlagem; áspero e suave. 
E os chows têm as duas. 

In the rough coat, the outer coat is abundant, dense, straight and off standing, rather coarse in texture; the undercoat soft, thick and woolly.

No pêlo áspero, o revestimento exterior é abundante, denso, reto e largo, um pouco grosseiro na textura, o sub-pelo macio, espesso e lanoso.

 

The Puppy have a coat soft, thick and woolly overall.

 O Filhote tem a pelagem macia, espessa e lanosa global.

The coat forms a profuse ruff around the head and neck, framing the head. The coat and ruff generally longer in dogs than in bitches.
 The coat length varies markedly on different Chows and thickness, texture and condition should be given greater emphasis than length.

O pêlo forma uma juba profusa em torno da cabeça e do pescoço, emoldurando a cabeça. A pelagem e juba geralmente mais longos nos machos que nas fêmeas.
O comprimento da pelagem varia muito nos diferentes CHOWS e textura, espessura e condição deve ser dada maior ênfase do que o comprimento.

Smooth

 There should be no obvious ruff or feathering on the legs or tail.

 Pelagem Lisa 

Não deve haver nenhum tuffo   ou franjas nas pernas ou na cauda.

COLOR

Clear colored, solid or solid with lighter shadings in the ruff, tail and featherings.

 

There are five colors in the Chow:

*Red (light golden to deep mahogany), *Black, *Blue, *Cinnamon (light fawn to deep cinnamon), and *Cream.

Acceptable colors to be judged on an equal basis.

Cores  Padrão 

CORES  Sólidas com matizes mais claros no colar, cauda e franjas.

Existem cinco cores na comida:

* Vermelho (dourado claro ao mogno de profundidade),* Preto, * Azul, * Canela (Fulvo claro à canela de profundidade), e * Cream.  

São as  cores aceitas para ser julgado em condições de igualdade.
